The above photo is a flashback to my first farming season (spring 2017) with tiny Norah riding in the tractor cart. There’s been a lot of growth, blunders, joy, and tears since then. I wouldn’t trade it for the world (except for maybe the sweat, aching muscles, and bug bites 😬). I’m so grateful for all I’ve learned and that I get to share it with you!

I first met Leah Boden in person a few years ago at the Wild + Free homeschooling conference in nearby Franklin, TN. Just shortly before, she had met one of my dearest friends ever, Kyle Campbell, who had just moved to England only an hour away from her. So now, we’re connected not just as homeschooling moms but as mutual friends of Kyle, and if I’m going to have to be separated so many miles away from Kyle, it makes me happy to know she has Leah as a close friend nearby. I look forward to the day when we can all be in one place, cooking and sharing a beautifully rustic meal together!
