The Kindred Life Podcast Ep. 14: Pruning Time

Pruning can be painful, but what if the pruning is uncovering beauty that’s been there all along but just hidden by unnecessary or unhealthy things? None of us wants to go through the discomfort of being pruned, but sometimes we need to eliminate some things to make room, to let our lives breathe.

As we approach early spring, it’s time to prune our fruit trees on the farm. In this episode, I share a story from the day one of our larger trees got pruned and the deeper, important lessons I learned that day. We look at how pruning could be removing good branches now to make way for more health and fruitfulness in the future.

And as usual, we have a gratefulness practice at the end that will leave you with an opportunity to see the small moments of joy in your everyday life.

For a breath of fresh inspiration, listen in! 💛
